SUNY and County Leaders, Project Partners to Announce the Grand Opening of the FWD Center

I am thrilled to announce that Monroe County Executive Adam Bello, SUNY Interim Chancellor Dr. Deborah Stanley, and other project partners as well as leaders in industry and the community will join me today in announcing the grand opening of the Finger Lakes Workforce Development (FWD, pronounced “Forward”) Center on MCC's Downtown Campus. Among the project partners are Susan Dundon, director for Young Adult and Working Families with The Ralph C. Wilson Jr Foundation.

Speakers at today's ceremony will discuss the FWD Center's anticipated impact on residents and employers across the Finger Lakes region. We are excited to open the doors to high-quality, affordable education to more New Yorkers.

Today's event is by invitation only due to room capacity. However, MCC will host open houses for the College Community in coming weeks. Please regularly check the MCC Daily Tribune for updates and the FWD Center's website for information about this new regional resource.
