TCC: Spring Conversation #1: "Creating Healthy Boundaries In Our Connections With Students"
Please join us on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, from 12:30-1:30 PM, on Zoom, as the TCC continues our Conversation series centered on the theme of Pedagogies of Care.
We often focus on making intentional connections with students and less so on being intentional with our boundaries. This conversation will focus on the intersection of forming connections with and setting appropriate boundaries in our relationships with students.
Professors Renée Coleman (Psychology) and Betty Mandly (Human Services) will facilitate this conversation to help us
- Understand the intersection of forming connections and setting boundaries
- Reflect on our own boundaries in their process of forming connections with students
- Explore how to use ethical principles to form boundaries to protect students and faculty/staff
Zoom info is in the attachment, as well as on the Events calendar.
All faculty and staff are welcome!
