Former MCC basketball player battling illness

Former MCC men's basketball player Mindagus Boruta, 26, has been diagnosed with Stage III Hodgkins Lymphoma.  Mindagus is back in Lithuania and has successfully completed two rounds of chemotherapy.  The Lithuanian government covers medical fees with the exception of drugs such as those required for chemotherapy.

The men's basketball team and the Athletic Department will be accepting donations in the form of check (made out to MCC) through Monday, Feb. 12.  Please see head coach Jerry Burns, assistant coach Demetrius Rhodes or Lisa LaDolce in the Athletic Department for more information.
