D’Alessandris Leads New Faculty Training Conference


Paul D’Alessandris, associate professor of Physics and Engineering Science, recently served as a conference leader at the New Faculty Training Conference for Two-Year College Physics faculty, July 25 - 26 in Ann Arbor, MI. The conference equipped new faculty members with knowledge of active learning techniques that are both based on Physics Education Research and that have been successfully implemented at two-year colleges across the country.

Additionally, D’Alessandris organized and chaired a session on “Innovations in Two-Year College Physics Curriculum” at the American Association of Physics Teachers national meeting, July 29 in Ann Arbor.
