Dr. Susan Salvador, vice president of Student Services, transitioned to president of the international association American College Personnel Association (ACPA) – College Student Educators International at the 2010 ACPA Convention in March. She was elected to this position. Her term is for 2010-2011, and she will continue as past president in 2011-2012. She served as the association’s vice president in 2009-2010.

The association’s mission is to support and foster college student learning through the generation and dissemination of knowledge, which informs policies, practices and programs for student affairs professionals and the higher education community.

ACPA has nearly 8,500 members representing 1,500 private and public institutions from across the U.S. and around the world. Members also include graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in student affairs/higher education administration programs, faculty, and student affairs professionals, from entry level to senior student affairs officers at two-year and four-year colleges as well as organizations and companies associated with the field of student affairs.
