Dorsey and Mallory attend New Business Officer Training

MCC's Marianne Dorsey, Financial Specialist, and Ashleigh Mallory, Grants Account Specialist, both from the Controller's Office, attended the SUNY Community College Business Officer Association's (CCBOA) New Business Officer Training Program held in Albany on September 12-13, 2018. Partnering with SUNY Administration, this training is conducted for new financial employees at community colleges. The first day sessions included administrators from the SUNY Offices for Capital Facilities, Budget & Finance, General Counsel, University Controller, and Risk Management/Internal Controls & Compliance. The CCBOA officers conducted the second day of training sessions which focused on Middle States self-assessment. Feedback from all participants was favorable and positive for this training program.
