The Diversity Council and MCC Association Co-Sponsor: Love's Journey


The Monroe Community College Diversity Committee along with the MCC Association, Inc, Co- Sponsor an original choreopoem written and produced by Assistant Professor Melany J. Silas of the Health and Physical Education Department. Love’s Journey is a dynamic choreopoem about love and relationships that will captivate its audience; from those who are single, to those who are married and every phase and stage in between. This full artistic piece explores the depths of love through contemporary and liturgical dance, poetry, drama, live R&B and Jazz music, along with a breath taking piece of visual art.

Love’s Journey’s featured artists include: Contemporary dance by FuturPointe Dance, R&B and Jazz music from Forward Movement and original paintings by Richmond Futch Jr.  Love’s Journey also fills the stage with awesome Rochester talent with the following cast members: Ethan Banister, Robin Brown, Christopher Fields, James Kates, Katrina Davis, Lelia Jackson, Deborah Solomon, and Patricia Starks.
