STEMtech 2012 – Early Registration and Discounted Hotel Reservation Deadlines Fast Approaching

Time is running out to register to attend and reserve your hotel room for the League for Innovation’s third annual STEMtech Conference.  The early registration deadline is September 28 and the hotel cut-off deadline is October 5.

This year’s STEMtech Conference will be held October 28-31, 2012, at the Sheraton Crown Center and Westin Crown Center in Kansas City, Missouri.  Educators, industry leaders, and others will gather to discuss increasing student access into and success in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) majors and careers.  The conference will also help educators explore the strategic use of information technology to better serve their students, campuses, and communities.  Keynote speakers include Leland Melvin, Associate Administrator, Education, NASA, and Julio Blanco, Natural Sciences, Math, and Engineering, California State University Bakersfield.  Over 400 presenters will cover everything from best practices for recruiting and retaining students for STEM-related programs to using information technology to improve organizational and student learning.  In addition, the conference will include exhibitors who will bring the latest STEM and technology developments and perspectives from the private sector.
