The MCC baseball team will host the East District tournament this Saturday and Sunday, May 15 and 16.
The double-elimination tournament will begin with a tripleheader on Saturday. MCC will take on SUNY Orange at 10 a.m., followed by Orange and UConn Avery Point at 1 p.m. The Tribunes will then play Avery Point at 4 p.m.
The championship will be 12 p.m. on Sunday, with another game 30 minutes after if necessary. The winner will advance to the NJCAA Division II World series.
This is the last home athletic event of the year for Monroe Community College, so be sure to come out and cheer on the Tribunes as they try to return to the national tournament!
