The TCC June 2008 Professional Development Workshop

How has MCC’s work environment changed over the years and how have you adjusted to these changes? What can faculty do to remain authentic in the classroom as our personal and professional lives seem to become more and more complex?

As part of the "Remembering the Past, Creating Our Future" series, the TCC presents…

”Finding Your Personal and Professional Balance in a Complex Environment”
When:           Friday, June 6th from 2-3:30 or as long as we want the discussion to go
Where:         The Forum
Who:            ALL faculty (senior, new, tenured, untenured, adjunct), professional staff, and administrators

Description:
As we prepare to welcome in a new president, let us reflect on MCC’s past and build on the lessons learned from our rich history.  How can we personally and collectively approach this new era?  Senior faculty panel members will share their perspectives on the most important challenges that faculty face and how they themselves have fulfilled their responsibilities to professing over the years.  Through discussion and interactive activities participants will create for themselves a practical model for balancing their personal lives with professional obligations to the College. Let’s create our future together!

Reminder:     Save gas by planning ahead. Attend two professional development programs in one day: "Enriching Advisement: The Workshop Series" that morning followed by this TCC event.

RSVP:          Please contact Karen Coffey (<<mailto:kcoffey@monroecc.edu>>) to reserve your place.
