Can you imagine yourself on the mound .... warming up for the big game? Ever dream of pitching in the big leagues? Or maybe it’s your son or daughter who has caught the baseball bug this summer? Maybe it just sounds like fun. Now is your chance!
President Flynn invites you to share in the fun at MCC Night at the Rochester Red Wings by entering to win a chance to throw the ceremonial first pitch. All ticketholders are eligible. Simply e-mail dmcconkey@monroecc.edu after you've purchased your ticket. Include the names of all ticketholders who want a chance at the first pitch and a phone number where you can be reached to discuss details. E-mails must be submitted by Noon Monday, Aug. 7; the drawing will be held that afternoon. The winner will be announced in the Daily Tribune.
Winner must report to Guest Services at Frontier Field at 6:30 pm on Aug. 10. President Flynn will accompany you onto the field and offer some pitching tips for your big moment. Game starts at 7:05 pm.
