MCC Science Students Accepted into Bridges to the Baccalaureate Summer Research Program

Eight MCC science students, Mohamed Elkhidir, Ashok Magar, Aleha Meikle, August Perez, Derick Thompson, Lauren Roberts, Breonna Robinson and Herut Tekilu, were recently accepted into a five-week summer research opportunity through the NIH sponsored, Bridges to the Baccalaureate Program between MCC and Binghamton University.

The students will be attending a two-day orientation at Binghamton on April 17th  to the 18th, 2015 and will select an individual research project under the direction of a Binghamton University biomedical science faculty member.

The summer research project will be completed at Binghamton from May 25th to June 26th, 2015 and each student will present an individual poster describing their research results at the 2015 Annual Undergraduate Research Poster Presentation at Binghamton University on June 26th. We congratulate these eight MCC science students on being accepted into this undergraduate research program.
