Reception to Honor Brenda Babitz

Please join the college family in thanking Brenda Babitz for her 18 years of service as president of the Monroe Community College Foundation. A special dessert reception will be held in her honor following the Salute to Excellence dinner on Dec. 10 at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center.

Brenda retired in August after building the MCC Foundation into one of the most successful and innovative community college foundations in the country. Guests are encouraged to linger following the Salute to Excellence dinner and take a few moments to congratulate Brenda for receiving the MCC Foundation’s first-ever Lifetime Achievement Award and wish her the best with her future endeavors. All of the evening’s honorees, including Pamela and Arunas Chesonis and the 2008 MCC Alumni Hall of Fame inductees, will also be in attendance.

There is still time to purchase tickets to the 19th Annual Salute to Excellence “Experience Rochester”! Please purchase your ticket(s) by Friday, Dec. 5. Tickets are $100 per person; $75 for MCC faculty, staff and students. Proceeds from the annual dinner support student scholarships, faculty grants and educational innovation at MCC.
