Diane L. Shoger Appointed to National Committee for Institutionally Related Foundations by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education


MCC Foundation Executive Director Diane Shoger has been appointed to the National Committee for Institutionally Related Foundations by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). 

The National Committee for Institutionally Related Foundations guides CASE by providing leadership on issues of concern to foundations and supporting the development of resources and services for the community of foundation professionals. 

The Committee’s responsibilities include:

·         Monitoring issues of special concern to IRFs and working with CASE staff to alert other foundations and to participate in representing foundations’ interests on these matters;

·         Providing leadership and guidance to CASE staff on the development of educational programs and other products and services for IRFs;

·         Helping to promote broad awareness of CASE’s programs among all who might benefit from them;

·         Helping to develop briefing papers, model policies, standards and guidelines, and other material to help foundations function effectively and maintain productive relationships with their institutions; and

·         Helping to organize and conduct specific programs including conferences, seminars and program audits.

Diane’s three-year term began on July 1, 2015.
