January 2011 Technology Week was a great success! We would like to send out a big thank you to the 100 individuals who attended 67 technology-related sessions offered at both the Brighton and Damon Campuses. Session topics included Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Publisher, myMCC, myVPN, Going mobile with hand-held devices, Web 2.0 Communications Tools, Twitter, Google, ANGEL, Library Databases and Resources, Scanning and SMARTBoard Strategies.
If you are feeling like you missed out on something special, you really did! But did you know that you do not need to wait until June for the next Technology Week to request technology training? The ETS Technology Training Team offers all of the sessions mentioned above plus many, many more throughout the entire year on a call-to-schedule basis. All you need to do is select the sessions of interest to you from the ETS Technology Training Catalog and give the contact person a call. We can also present to your entire department on a topic of interest.
To view the current catalog of session offerings, enter myMCC (mymcc.monroecc.edu or from the MCC Web Page, click Employees), click on the Employee Tab in myMCC, and select the Technology Training link in the Technology Resources Channel.
