The History Film Series continues tonight with a screening of the film Gallipoli. This 1981 film is about Australian soldiers in WW1.
A young Mel Gibson stars with Peter Weir directing. Weir went on to do such famous film as: The Truman Show, Witness, & Dead Poets Society.
The film screens tonight at 7:00 in room 12-229. Mark Sample (History Dept.) will introduce the film
