MCC will host the ITC audioconference entitled "Online Polling Solutions" scheduled for Tuesday, March 28 at 2:00 in the Board Lounge. Are you looking for a solution for online class evaluations or a method to survey faculty for professional development needs? Are you tired of relying on anecdotal data for your distance education program? Tap into the pulse of your online community by developing dynamic, online surveys using easy-to-use, open-source software. Travis Souza, Coordinator of the Instructional Center for Innovation at Truckee Meadows Community College, will explore the academic and administrative uses of online polling/surveying software. Focus will be on two open-source solutions that can easily be installed an incorporated into a learning management system, LMS, or portal. In addition to example surveys and demonstrations, participants will be given accounts to create their own sample surveys.
