Cyber Skills to Protect Our Children


The Homeland Security Management Institute of Monroe Community College is now offering a new course called "Cyber Skills to Protect Our Children." This seminar will cover various topics surrounding the protection of our children in today’s electronic world. These topics include: MySpace, Facebook, Gmail, blogging, common acronyms used by children while communicating on the internet, text messaging, use of webcams and cell phones, and the responsibilities of parents, teachers, and administrators.

When: Wednesday, January 10, 2007 (5:30pm to 8:30pm) at the Public Safety Training Facility, 1190 Scottsville Rd, Room 107
