The Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Project, in partnership with Rochesterians for Israel, will host “An Evening with Irving Roth, Holocaust Survivor” on Sunday, October 21 at 7 pm in the Flynn Campus Center Forum. Parking is available in Lot M. This program is free and open to the public.
In his talk, Mr. Roth will respond to these key questions:
* What were the warning signs in Europe before the Holocaust?
* Is anti-Semitism on the rise again and how is it manifested today?
* How should Israel respond to virulent anti-Semitism coming from the leadership of Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas?
Established in 1991, the Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Project is MCC’s unique organization for telling the stories of the Holocaust and other genocides while transforming individuals to become advocates for human rights. Since its inception, the HGHRP has impacted more than 1,600 students and community members through educational, commemorative and advocacy programs.
