Chemistry Club, Faculty Present at the Brighton Festival of Ideas

Several chemistry faculty participated as part of the Chemistry Club in the Brighton Festival of Ideas at Brighton High School this past Saturday.  The group presented three workshops in which middle school students were guided through a series of candy chemistry experiments.  This was the tenth year that Chemistry Club and faculty have participated in the Festival.  In attendance were Faculty members Jason Anderson, Ryan Clemens, Brain Edelbach, Azwana Sadique, and Kara Tierney, MCC student Ashraf Saleh, and retired Brighton High School chemistry teacher Morton Stein (MCC alumnus and member of the first graduating class of MCC!).  Thank you to all the volunteers for making the festival a success.
