United Nations Interfaith Harmony Faith Fair

Please join us for the 2015 United Nations Interfaith Harmony Week.  Faith Fair on Monday, March 2, from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. in the Student Center Terrace (upstairs in front of the library.)

Learn what different faith traditions believe.  Ask how they practice their faith.  See the ways the interact with our community.  Each faith community will have a table top display about their community and their religious tradition.  Look over their brochures, religious items (e.g., a chalice, prayer beads, sage stick, etc.), and handouts explaining the basic tenets of their faith.  Talk with the members of the faith community about their faith in a spirit of education and awareness-raising.

Local faith communities include:  Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Baha’i, Native American, Quaker, Mormon, Tibetan Buddhist, Orthodox.
