Next week is Crime Victims' Rights Week!  Come and attend crime prevention workshops on identity theft, domestic violence, senior scams, and more.

Have you been a victim of a crime or would you like to learn how to protect yourself from a crime?

The Student Resource Center and Mentors in Violence Prevention are pleased to announce that Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Rochester will be hosting a Community Awareness project at MCC’s Damon City Campus during National Crime Victims’ Rights Week.  This event will take place on Monday, April 7, 2014 from 12:30 – 3:30 and will give attendees an opportunity to learn about crime prevention, victims’ rights and community resources.

Consumer Credit Counseling Services and agencies such as the Attorney General’s Office, Alternatives for Battered Women and Lifespan will have a panel discussion and workshops on identity theft, fraud & scams, domestic violence and elder abuse.   A Resource Fair with various agencies will also be included so that individuals can learn about the services that each agency offers. Please see the attached flyer for more details.

Hope to see you there!
