Teaching Resources Available

MCC's Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Project has a limited number of teaching materials available related to the upcoming program Voices of Vigilance: Rwandan Genocide 25th Anniversary with Paul Rusesabagina. This event will take place at 7pm on Wednesday, March 6th in the Theatre, Robin and Tim Wentworth Arts Building (Building 4). Tickets are required ($5 with MCC ID, $10 general public) and can be purchased through www.monroecctickets.com.

A limited number of the following materials related to this event are available:

  • "10 Stages of Genocide" handout
  • Rwandan genocide overview
  • Tugire Ubumwe - Let's Unite! Full color graphic novel on the Rwandan genocide, produced by the Outreach Programme on the Rwanda Genocide and the United Nations
  • Hotel Rwanda teaching guide: this film is being shown at MCC on Tuesday, 02/26 at 5:30pm in the Forum on the Brighton campus (public parking in lot N) and on Wednesday, 02/27 at 2:30pm in High Falls B on the Downtown campus (public parking in lot CC)
