ESOL Voices: Student Spotlight

Kimberly Colon is an ESOL student from Puerto Rico. She has been in the United States for one year. She enjoys reading novels, listening to classical music, and watching independent films—the Little Theatre is her second home in Rochester. In terms of her future career, she is still undecided, but would love to study cinema. See the attached pdf to read her story.

ESOL Voices a collection of stories written by ESOL students at Monroe Community College. This semester, we are highlighting Latino students from South and Central American countries and the Caribbean. Look for a new story in the Daily Tribune each month. We hope you will find these stories interesting and inspiring.
