What Do a T. Rex, a Hydrogen Fuel Cell Car, and a Climate Change Panel Have in Common?


They will all be on campus Wednesday, April 15th for an Earth Day Extravaganza!  Join us for a series of displays and discussions about climate change, alternative energy, sustainable living, and fossil displays including a life-size Tyrannosaurus Rex skull. Matthew Fox (Transitional Studies) will kick off the celebration on Monday, April 13th with a presentation on sustainable gardening from 12-1 pm in 12-207.  The Wednesday schedule of events is as follows:

• Model T. Rex Skull and Fossil Exhibit in the Flynn Campus Center Atrium from 10 am – 2 pm
• GM’s Chevy Equinox, a Hydrogen Fuel Cell Car, will be on display near the MCC exit outside of the Gilman Lounge from 11 am – 3 pm
• Climate Change: Myths and Realities panel discussion in the Warshof Conference Center, Flynn Campus Center, Empire Room (3-205) from 12 pm – 1 pm
• Climate Jeopardy with the SGA Sustainability Group near the Flynn Campus Center Marketplace Café from 12 pm – 1 pm
• Viewing of Chill Out: Campus Solutions to Global Warming in the Flynn Campus Center Atrium from 1:15 pm– 3:30 pm
• Displays by the Geosciences Association, NY Geographic Alliance and Chemistry Club in the Flynn Campus Center Atrium from 10 am – 2 pm
