On Saturday, April 28, 2007 the Human Services Club sponsored a Community Development Conference: Collaboration in Action. About 180 students and community people attended.
The keynote speaker was Mark Homan, author of Community Change: Making It Happen in the Real World, and Rules of the Game.
Darryl Porter, Sr., Assistant to the Mayor, commended the students for their community work and will arrange for their suggestions to be reviewed by Mayor Duffy.
