On Friday, April 30, 2010, over twenty members of the MCC family traveled to Proctor’s Theatre in Schenectady, NY to attend the inauguration of Dr. Quintin B. Bullock as the 6th president of Schenectady County Community College. In the accompanying photo, Quintin, former Executive Dean of the Damon City Campus, is in the front row center next to MCC Board Chair Emerita, Dr. Alice H. Young. MCC’s former president, Dr. Peter A. Spina, (front row left next to Dr. Emeterio “Pete” Otero, Executive Dean, Damon City Campus) made formal remarks at the inauguration. Quintin stated, “I am honored and humbled to have so many former MCC colleagues attend my inauguration.” Shortly after the photo was taken, Hezekiah “Heze” Simmons, Vice President, Administrative Services (hidden directly behind Quintin in the photo) led the group in a rousing cheer of “MCC, MCC, MCC!”
