Specialist Benjamin D. Osborn, a Queensbury resident, was killed in Konar, Afghanistan on June 15th. New York Governor David A. Paterson has directed flags to be flown at half-staff on Wednesday, June 23rd in his honor. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) which is stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
