MCC soccer player Maura Martin and volleyball player Lauren Krajewski have been named the MCC Athletes of the Week.
Martin, a sophomore midfielder, was named the Region III, Division I tournament Most Valuable Player after helping lead the Lady Tribunes to their 10th straight regional title and 21st overall.
Krajewski played well in defeat for the Tribunes at the WNYAC tournament. The sophomore had 21 kills and 16 digs in a thrilling five-set loss to Niagara CCC. Krajewski was also named the WNYAC Player of the Year. It is her second Athlete of the Week honor this fall.
