WXXI AM reporter James Brown interviewed MCC Chief Diversity Officer Dr. Calvin Gantt for the news story "Changing demographics inspire MCC to be more inclusive." The story reflects yesterday's Essential Discussion on Inclusive Higher Education: Inspiring Change from Within.

The story highlights Dr. Gantt's philosophy that "everyone involved in a campus has a role to play when it comes to student equity and inclusion. ... what educators do and say matters."

More than 200 educators, students and community members attended the colloquium on the Brighton and Downtown campuses. Video recordings of the keynote presentations will be available soon on the Essential Discussion web page.
