Retention First Aid Kit at DCC!

Calling all faculty and staff - please come to "Retention First Aid Kit" presentation and discussion!

As faculty members, you’ve heard about the integral role you play in student retention. But what does that look like? Where exactly do you fit into the retention equation?

Join Laurie Snyder, DCC Retention Advisor, as she explains why students stay and describes specific ways for faculty members to bring students back to life when their staying-power is waning.  Come share in the discussion, learn what others have done to help students persist and leave the session with some remedies to help ailing students succeed.

Date:         Monday, October 22, 2007

Time:         12:00pm-12:50pm (College Hour)

Place:        Room #5124 Damon City Campus

This professional development opportunity is being sponsored by DCC's Teaching and Creativity Center, and is open to all faculty and staff.  Please feel free to bring your lunch and your thoughts on retention!
