Project Zero has best year yet!

Project Zero, MCC Wellness Council's holiday challenge, had it's best turn out since the challenge started 3 years ago. The 2019-20 challenge attracted 85 participants, 75% from Brighton and 25% from Downtown. These "Project Zeroers" took on the the challenge to MAINTAIN their weight throughout the holiday season while adopting healthy habits!

Participants attended private events that included cooking demos of preparing holiday food, personal group training sessions by certified professionals, juicing, fitness classes and more. Nearly 10% of all the participants attended 5 or more events!

Each participant that finished the challenge by weighing in, received a prize from local businesses and/or organizations. Among the prizes were an Excellus gym bag, $25 gift cards from Wegmans, gift cards of varying amounts from Nathan's Soup & Salad, Fina's Cafe, Sodexo, Food for Thought and much more!

Even though the challenge has ended, employees can still visit http://libguides.monroecc.edu/wellness/ to download the monthly events calendar, get meal planning and nutrition tips in the Health Eating section, find out information to walk the on-campus Labyrinth and so much more.

Keep the momentum going and make 2020 your healthiest year yet!
