MCC volleyball players Tamara Robertson and Denae Rinaldo were named the MCC Athletes of the Week. Both players were key as the MCC volleyball team went a perfect 3-0 last week.
Robertson, a sophomore outside hitter, totaled nine kills, 20 digs, and one ace in a four-game win over Onondaga on Tuesday. She then had eight kills and five digs in a sweep of Niagara County CC Thursday. Robertson finished the week with 10 kills and three digs in a three-game win over Mohawk Valley CC Saturday.
Rinaldo, a freshman outside hitter, started the week with 15 kills and 13 digs against Onondaga. She then had eight kills and 17 digs against Niagara, and finished the week with nine kills and four digs against Mohawk Valley.
