Ralston and Pasto-Ziobro Present to Second-graders

On February 10, Sherry Ralston, Director of Human Resources and Dolores Pasto-Ziobro, Internal Auditor presented on "What Community Means in Monroe Community College" to over 80 second graders at Crane Elementary School (Rush-Henrietta School District).

Many of the kids raised their hands when asked if they had a parent who is attending Monroe Community College. Additionally, three of the five teachers went here, the husband of one of the teachers graduated from MCC, and the husband of another one of the teachers teaches adjunct at MCC.

Ellen Gozik helped by putting together some posters for the presentation. The kids loved the poster where they moved the nurse, police officer, teacher, or auto mechanic through MCC and then to work in the community. We also received assistance from Carol Fisher who supplied boxes of candy hearts with the MCC seal and a bookmark.

Needless to say, the presentation went well including hugs afterwards from some of the kids.
