Learn more about this free webinar here.

The pandemic has caused unprecedented turmoil across our nation. Postsecondary education now plays a more important role than ever in fueling economic mobility and recovery, yet learners have encountered disruption across their lives. Enrollment, which typically increases during recessions, is down. Now more than ever community colleges must play a critical role in providing access and fostering social mobility for students. Research has demonstrated that community college students who transfer to four-year universities graduate at faster or the same rates as students who start at four-year institutions as freshmen. Yet, in this moment of unprecedented chaos and uncertainty for so many students and their families, early data signals suggest that college completion is at risk for many students. So, how can community college staff and faculty ensure that their students stay on a path toward a bachelor's degree? Come hear how we can ease the friction for today's students.

Moderator: Rufus Glasper, President and CEO, League for Innovation in the Community College

Presenters: Sylvia Jenkins, President, Moraine Valley Community College; Seppy Basili, Executive Director, Jack Kent Cooke Foundation; Kathleen DeLaski, Founder, Education Design Lab
