The Nursing Department is pleased to report that our students’ pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) for 2014 is 90.73%, exceeding the national pass rate of 81.78% and the New York State pass rate of 78.78%. The NCLEX-RN exam is designed to test the essential knowledge, skills, and abilities which are necessary for safe and effective practice of nursing at the entry level.
