Admissions Tours and Information Sessions

This summer, the Admissions Office piloted a new summer tour initiative for prospective high school juniors and their families, yielding over 150 campus visitors.  I would like to thank Admissions Counselors Krista Tyner and Meryll Pentz for coordinating the tour guides, and Janette McGimsey and Ashley Bonetti for managing registrations during this busy time of year.

Fall 2012 Tour and Information Sessions for prospective students will be offered at the Brighton Campus on Wednesdays and Fridays during the semester.  Damon City Campus Tours can be scheduled by calling 262-1740.  ATC Tour and Information Sessions are held throughout the year.  Tours of  the Public Safety Training Facility can be scheduled by calling 753-3707.  All this information can be found at "https://www.monroecc.edu/go/visit".

The Admissions Office will also be introducing a new initiative called “Meet MCC Mondays;” a new opportunity for school and community groups to visit the campus and learn more in depth about the academic programs MCC offers, along with the array of student services programs designed to help students enroll and complete their program successfully.  Questions regarding “Meet MCC Mondays” may be directed to Krista Tyner at "mailto:ktyner@monroecc.edu".

The Admissions Office is excited to bring lots of visitors to campus this year.  Additionally, if you know of a student who would be an ideal candidate to become a Student Ambassador (tour guide), please give them a copy of the attached application and refer them to the Admissions Office.
