Scholarship Open Golfers Raise Over $120,000 for MCC Students

Monroe Community College Foundation's 38th Annual Scholarship Open was held on June 27 at The Country Club of Rochester. The day was filled with fun, but the mission was quite serious: to raise funds in support of Monroe Community College and to provide scholarships for deserving students. Thanks to our community’s generosity, over $120,000 (net) was raised in support of MCC students to fund public higher education for Greater Rochester.

It was perfect golf weather! Our first-place winner for low net was Canandaigua National Bank. West Herr Auto came in as the first-place low gross team. Great excitement transpired around the course when Eric Koehler shot a hole in one!

Special thanks to our committee co-chairs Chris Cimini and Gavin Brownlie. Also, a deeply heartfelt thank you to our Scholarship Open committee for their dedication, creativity, and resourcefulness in making this year's Scholarship Open one to remember!
