Professor Rory Butler, Assistant Professor Jayalaxmi Chakravarthy, and Cloud-Computing Coordinator Thomas Felton, Jr. were invited to Alfred State University as spectators for the Northeast Collegiate Cyber Defense Qualification Competition. This will help our professors continue to guide the upgrades to our own labs and curricula as they relate to ICT’s new INT degree and Cybersecurity Certificate programs. Jim Boardman, Chair of Alfred’s Information Technology Department extended the invitation to visit the competition and offered a venue for partnerships in developing competitions and computing, and Cybersecurity clubs. Kudos to the MCC team in providing a pathway for our students.
