Dependent Health Care Eligibility Audit

The College has engaged the services of The Bonadio Group, an independent CPA firm, to conduct a Dependent Eligibility Verification Review.  The purpose of this review is to ensure that the College’s health care plans are being operated in a manner that is compliant with the Internal Revenue Service’s regulations, which dictate the eligibility requirements for group health plans.  In addition, this process also helps to manage overall plan costs, which benefits all employees.

As part of this verification process, you will receive communication directly from The Bonadio Group that will ask you to provide documentation to them regarding the dependents listed on your health insurance plans.  The Bonadio Group will review this documentation to ensure that your dependents meet the definition of an eligible dependent under the terms of the plan and are properly receiving health care benefits through the College’s group health plans.

The information that you submit to The Bonadio Group will be kept in a secure fashion.  All documents provided during the dependent verification program, will be securely stored and protected through physical and electronic safeguards.

You will be receiving an initial document request communication from The Bonadio Group in the next week in the mail at your home address on file.  Please review the communication and reply within the time frames specified.  For more information regarding this process, please see the attached FAQ document.
