Faculty Senate Bylaws Amendments

The Faculty Senate Nominations, Elections, and Governance (NEG) Committee will be holding a virtual open forum on the proposed Faculty Senate Bylaws amendments. You are invited to a Zoom meeting on Friday, February 5, from 12-1pm to review and discuss the proposals.

The documents outlining the proposed revisions, along with meeting information, are in the Faculty Senate Blackboard space under the Faculty Senate Business then folder 2020/2021 Faculty Senate Action Items.

Members of the Faculty Senate Executive Committee and the NEG Committee will be available to answer questions starting at the above listed time  The open forum will run only as long as is needed for questions to be answered, which may mean that it will not last the whole hour. Please make arrangements to arrive at the start of the forum if you are interested.

Those unable to attend may direct their questions, comments or concerns to Mary Timmons, NEG chair.

A full Faculty Senate membership vote on the proposed amendments will be open for the stipulated 10 days starting on or about February 10, under the auspices of IR.  Information regarding voting procedures will be sent to members and will also be available in the Senate Blackboard space.
