Julie Slate and Christie Smith, admissions counselors, presented at this year’s annual New York State Association for College Admission Counseling (NYSACAC) Conference held at Utica College on June 12th. Their presentation was called "Utilizing Student Ambassadors Throughout the Admissions Recruitment Process." The presentation focused on the our new initiatives and the utilization of student employees to assist with admissions recruitment goals.
Julie and Christie also participated in the NYSACAC Coming Together Conference. The Coming Together Conference offers thought-provoking sessions and networking opportunities in support of our goals around the issues of diversity, equity, and access. Julie Slate participated in the action planning in regards to Middle Income, Middle of the Road students. Christie Smith was a part of the action planning for Diversity Recruitment and Training.
