Navarro DeHond Achieves CTM Status


Diane Navarro DeHond, Instructional Technologies, earned her Competent Toastmaster award (CTM) at the Jan. 11 meeting of the MCC Toastmasters Club. The CTM award marks the successful delivery of 10 prepared speeches through the Toastmasters International program. Her persuasive speech was entitled "Living Without Fear."

Navarro DeHond was the first president of the club and was a driving force behind its establishment to benefit MCC faculty and staff. She currently serves as past president and continues to inspire others to pursue their leadership and communication goals. She is the fourth member of the club to earn the award.

The next meeting of the MCC Toastmasters Club is Tuesday, Jan. 25 at 4:45 pm in the Brighton Room (3-217) on the Brighton Campus. All are welcome to attend and see what the program offers.
