Kimberly McKinsey-Mabry and Ebony Caldwell Present at AAC&U Conference


Kimberly McKinsey-Mabry, Dean, Business and Community Engagement, and Ebony Caldwell, Project Director for Title III – Building a Culture of Engagement and Success, presented “Reflective Mirror: The Promise of Thoughtful Representation” on Friday, March 17, 2017, at the AAC&U Diversity, Learning, and Student Success Conference in Jacksonville, Florida.

Following an equity-minded framework, their poster presentation expressed the importance of recruiting, hiring, and retaining diverse faculty to thoughtfully represent the student population. Strategies, promising practices, and templates that can be replicated at respective institutions were shared with conference participants.
