MCC Upward Bound Attends Stokoe Farms

On Monday, October 11, MCC Upward Bound held its first field trip of the year, to Stokoe Farms in Scottsville.

Upon arrival to the Downtown Campus, students met with UB staff and boarded a bus, following COVID protocol, to Stokoe Farms. Students participated in various activities, including navigating corn mazes, ziplining, operating apple launchers, and watching a dog show. Toward the end of the field trip, participants were able to pick out their own pumpkin to take home.

Our field trip to Stokoe Farms gave students the opportunity to build connections with both their advisors and the new friends they made online during the 2021 MCC UB Summer Program.
