Congratulations! On behalf of the Academic Foundations division, English/Philosophy Department, and the Office of Student Life & Leadership Development, we are pleased to announce that the winner of the 2014 Alan B. Shaw Memorial Essay Award is Katlyn Kadlec for her essay, “My Personal Angel.” Second place goes to Trevon Tyrell Morrison for his essay, “My Best Friend the Marine.” Special thanks to all who participated.
