Weldgen's artwork currently on display at the National Museum of the American Indian

Instructor Franzie Weldgen's (VaPA) cartoon collaboration with internationally recognized Native American potter, Susan Folwell, is currently on display in an exhibit titled, Born of Clay Ceramics, at the National Museum of the American Indian located in the U. S. Custom House in the center of New York City's Financial District. Folwell created the ceramic vessel and  Weldgen painted/glazed a pollitical cartoon illustrating the imaginary fate of Ossama Bin Laden on the piece's face. The work will be on display up through May 30, 2007. Catalog with essays of the exhibit are available and admission is free.
