The 2017-2018 Vanguard Award Applications are open!

The Nontraditional Employment & Training Program at the Center for Women in Government & Civil Society, University at Albany, is accepting nominations for the 2017-2018 Vanguard Awards.

The Vanguard Award recognizes outstanding postsecondary level students who are enrolled in CTE programs that are not traditional for their gender. A nontraditional career is an occupation where one sex comprises fewer than 25% of the total employed. Students must be nominated by faculty/staff of nontraditional CTE programs.

The grants office will accept draft applications through November 15, 2017. All applications will be consolidated and submitted by the grants office by the November 22, 2017 deadline. Please contact Nancy Lillis, Grants Coordinator, at ext. 6235 with questions.
