Peer Mentors Collecting for Holiday Basket

The Peer Mentors are collecting items for a holiday basket to be donated to a family in need through the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. The list of items needed includes non-perishable foods, new clothing and toys to help make their season bright and memorable.

The family being sponsored consists of a single mother and her three little boys, ages 10 months, three and five. Some of the children’s interests are Spiderman, Batman, Barney, but they would appreciate any kind of new toys donated.

In addition, the Peer Mentors are also collecting new teddy bears for the SPCC to give to children in transition in order to provide them with comfort during a difficult time in their lives.

Please bring your donations to the Peer Assistance Resource Center, Building 3, Room 120 by Friday, December 5, 2008.

If you have any questions, please call Tony DiFabio at 292-2552.
