The Monroe Community College Science Students Smith Agyingi, Ana Cartaya, Diwas Biswa, Tumininu Faniyan and Gbassey Oteme were recently accepted into a five week summer research opportunity through the NIH sponsored, Bridges to the Baccalaureate Program between MCC and Binghamton University. The students will be taking a two-day orientation at Binghamton on Apr. 4th to the 5th, 2014 accompanied by Chemistry Professor Brian Edelbach and CSTEP Advisor John Curry. The students will select a research project during their two day orientation and will complete their research project in the lab of their selected science faculty mentor at Binghamton from May 26th to June 27th, 2014. Each student will present a poster describing their individual scientific research at the 2014 Annual Undergraduate Research Poster Presentation at Binghamton University on Friday June 27th, 2014.
